We've been using Frontline on our cats for a few years and are very pleased overall. It's been very effective for fleas - haven't seen any in several years on any of our 4 cats. Also seems quite effective for ticks - only seen ~1 tick per cat per year. I've used Frontline Plus on my cats for almost four years. Expensive but worth it. Super product. In the NW I apply it every 5-6 weeks and have zero problems by extending the time between doses a bit (my vet's suggestion). Amazon's price is great - haven't seen it lower.
