This well made scratching post is nicer looking than any comparable posts I saw at a local store. And my big, male cat really enjoys it. He stands on his hind legs and goes at it just like in the picture. I get the sense that the covering on this post will last for many years. The upfront price is a little high as scratching posts go, but I think it is a good, long term investment.
