The dog bed is exactly what I needed. My dog is a terrier/pomeranian mix. The bed is the perfect size. I would say any dog over 10 lbs would be too big for this. The shoe was a different color than the one pictured - mine turned out to be a chocolate brown all over. The cushion in the bed is removeable, so you can wash the rest of the bed. It fits perfectly in a corner or under a table. It took my dog a couple weeks to get use it (we've never used doggie beds before), but now he loves it.
