There are some good points and bad points with this tank. First, let me say that if you don't mind having to buy a whole new system once every 18 months, then this is a good deal. The reason you have to buy the whole system is due to the fact that the motors on the filter system tend to die out, and (so far) I have not seen a way to buy just the motor piece to replace it. Three times in the last 3 1/2 years we've had to buy a whole new tank just so we could get the motor replaced. If there is a way to buy the motor piece by itself, I have yet to find it. Would be great though! The tank itself is fine, and perfect for small spaces. I do enjoy the hexagon shape it has. The motor (when it is not going out on you!) is also fairly quiet.   1   Non User
