Blah these slide around easily in my dog's crates and get all bunched up. They also aren't very soft until they've been washed and dried once because the fur matts together in lots of little clumps. They're softer than those crate pads that have the "bumpers" around the edges and then are thin in all other parts. The thin parts of those pads are not soft whatsoever. But they don't slide around nearly as much. So it's a trade off as to which kind to choose.
