Our Siamese used to inhale his food. The vet had him on prednisone to help ease his stomach irritation. He got soooo fat! Since we switched him to Royal Canin, we've been able to take him off the prednisone and he's back to a healthy weight. When we switched from the Indoor 33 to the Siamese formulation, his vomiting stopped! Now, he only gives us presents when he has a hairball. The pieces are so large he has to chew and that's made a world of difference. He also has more energy than he's had in years! I thought he slowed down because he's middle-aged. I think it was the food. He's as playful as he's ever been now. Our other cat, a Norwegian Forest Cat, is also doing well on this food.
