| These white liners are a great litter pan "shield" from stains and sticky litter, particularly in the corners. They fit on either a Van Ness CP2 Large Pan or a CP4 Large Framed Pan, though not as snugly as I'd prefer, seeing as my cats pull the edges in whenever they bury their waste, then do their business on top of that, which kind of defeats the purpose of using them. Another reason why I no longer use these liners is because one of my cats loves to eat plastic. But they do make the chore of throwing away used cat litter less of a hassle, since everything's already in a bag. (Twelve ties are included in the box, but you may want to try the drawstring liners instead.) The liners can rip after constant use or high traffic (either from the cat(s) or the litter scoop), though the liners are quite durable and can hold several pounds of used litter without tearing. But if you don't want to use these liners, you can still prevent excessive clumping by lightly spraying the litter pan with a silicon spray or baby oil. These liners are a good idea, but for me the cons far outweigh the pros. |
